UK Visas and Immigration offer an optional visa Priority service which allows applicants to have their visa applications placed at the front of the queue. Depending on the location of the application centre, they aim to process non-settlement applications within 5-10 working days and settlement applications are placed at the front of the queue and the decision is expedited.
The Priority service costs £184 for each non-settlement application and £551 for each settlement application. Dependants can also apply for the service at the same time, but will have to pay the additional fee.
As with any visa application service, this priority service does not imply or guarantee that the application will be successful. However, more importantly, UKVI do not guarantee that all applicants using the service will receive their decision in the time frame given, nor do they offer a refund if they fail to complete the application within this time frame.
