UKBA have published a series of revised application forms, following changes made to the immigration rules and application fees. These forms were published on 6 April 2013.

UKBA fees to be increased for applications made from overseas and applications made from within the UK, taking effect on Saturday 6 April 2013.

UKBA have made changes to the codes of practice for skilled employers. Due to these changes, the application process for restricted certificates of sponsorship (RCoS) has been amended in March, April and May 2013.

UKBA have published a statement of intent to help employers prepare for changes to the points based system.

People applying to come to the UK from the Philippines can now take advantage of a new visa service which allows them to make an appointment, submit their application and provide biometric information on the same day at the Visa Application Centre in Manila.

UKBA has introduced a new priority visa service across all application centres made in the Russian Federation.  You can use this service if you are applying under any of the short term visit categories (6 or 12 month only) and if you have travelled to the UK in the past 2 years.

Application submission fees are set to increase from 6th April 2013. This will apply to all applications made within the UK and overseas.

People applying to come to the UK from India will be able to have their visas processed in one day with the new super priority visa service.
