A number of changes to the Immigration Rules have been laid in Parliament which will take effect in September and October 2012.
Changes to Applications for Overstayers – 1 October 2012
As of 1 October 2012, overstaying in the UK for more than 28 days will result in an automatic refusal for any further leave.
